Faye was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and was raised by her Godly grandmother in Eatonton, Georgia. She graduated from Putnam County High School. She graduated from West Georgia College with both BS and Master of Education degrees in Health and Physical Education. She presently holds a Specialist in Educational Leadership degree from Troy State University.
In 1984, Faye was teaching and coaching at LaGrange High School, in LaGrange, GA, when she had an encounter with the Lord that led her to Christ For the Nations Bible College in Dallas, Texas. At Christ For the Nations, she received her degree in Practical Theology. From there, she did discipleship training school (DTS) and studied third-world medical missions in Hawaii with Youth With A Mission (YWAM). Faye has served as a foreign missionary in more than nine different countries.
In 1990, God led her back into public education where He changed her vision from a career to a mission, serving as teacher and coach. Faye has been honored to speak at numerous churches, schools, missions, conferences and other organizations. She also loves to write inspirational poems (samples available), read and talk about the Lord.
Faye co-partners with Becky Grubbs in “My Father’s House”, a Christ-centered after-school program for children in LaGrange, Georgia.
